More than 25 artists will be showing their work at a Stonehenge exhibit to celebrate clay and craft in Central Alabama. The exhibit will give local audiences the opportunity to see some of the diverse and exciting three-dimensional work going on in the region.
The show will feature functional and art pottery; clay, metal, and stone sculpture; mixed media; textiles; and several collaborations among artists, including some working in other media.
The wine and cheese reception on Friday, February 16, 5:30-8:30 p.m., in conjunction with the clay conference’s gallery hop, will be attended by many of the artists whose work is in the show.
The 2018 Alabama Clay Market is held in conjunction with the Alabama Clay Conference, February 15-17 at the Embassy Suites downtown Montgomery, AL. The Market will open with a reception on Thursday, February 15 from 5:30 til 7:00. The Market will be open Friday, February 16 and Saturday, February 17 from 9-5 and is opened to the public.
